Message for Japanese applicants

Greetings from Fuqua! My name is Jessica Brown and it is my pleasure to serve as the admissions liaison for Japan. Thank you visiting this page and I hope that the information that is presented will help to provide you with a very unique perspective of Duke, The Fuqua School of Business as well as the MBA application process.

As you begin to research our MBA program, I strongly recommend that you take the time to connect with different members of Team Fuqua and learn of their MBA experiences. They welcome the opportunity to engage and connect with prospective students. If possible, I always recommend visiting campus and experiencing our culture first hand as it is the best way to truly understand our diverse community. Prospective Japanese candidates that are able to visit campus are greeted by our current Japanese students, whom take great pride in hosting visitors and ensuring that all of their questions are answered. If you cant make it to Durham for a visit, feel free to reach out to the current students and connect with our alumni. At Duke we have amazing students and alumni from around the world that are passionate about helping others and sharing their insights about the program.

Lastly, I invite you to join me and our alumni at the various information sessions and recruitment events that we will host in Tokyo. Attending these events is a great way to gain greater insight into the Duke MBA as well as learn information that will help you to submit a competitive and well-rounded admissions application. Should you have any questions, dont hesitate to contact me (email: as it relates to learning more about Team Fuqua, our community and the application process.
